 Salvia Velocity Blue, Salvia farinacea Velocity™ Blue, is an early bloomer that features large, dark blue flower spikes. Velocity™ Blue is a great performer with strong stems and dense habit. Velocity Salvia is a bushy, upright plant with intense dark blue flower. It makes an excellent plant for adding height to combination containers. It is the earliest flowering Salvia farinacea on the market. Salvia Velocity Blue makes a great landscape plant for ground beds or mixed containers, especially when used with other bright red or yellow annuals. Velocity Salvia also has very good heat tolerance. This plant can be a perennial in zones 9-11. In zones 3-8 it is an annual only. Scientific Name : Salvia 'Velocity Blue' |
