The Hardy Tall Phlox Starburst, 'Phlox paniculata', exhibits large flower heads with soft pink flowers that have a delicate greenish edge. It is very unusual and decorative, does best in full sun, and great for a cut flower. The flowers are fragrant and showy, with brilliant non-fading colors. Growing 2-3' tall, they are excellent for perennial borders, corners and for cut flowers. The foliage is dense and compact with deep green, lance-shaped leaves with prominent veins. Butterflies love them! Plant about 18-20" apart in rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade.
Scientific Name : Phlox paniculata 'Starburst'
