The Crocus 'Advance', 'Snow Crocus species', a fall planted bulb, is a very special, deliciously scented botanical crocus. The outside of the flower is blue, while the inside is bright yellow. They are a very good naturalizer and good for use in lawns, woods and between your perennials. These extremely care-free bulbs are among the most popular bulbs used in the landscape. Advance blooms in early spring and has a 3 week bloom period.Crocuses perform best in a sandy, well-drained soil. Crocus bulbs remaining in the ground will always bloom a bit earlier than the ones planted the previous year. For a massive effect, plant in great sweeps of 100 to 150 bulbs.
