Solar landscape lighting is the perfect environmentally friendly option to lighting up paths. Be forewarned however that solar landscape lighting has to be installed so that the fixture gets the full blast of the sun for as long as is possible (preferably every minute of daylight) ptherwise it will not function as well. It may also not work on cloudy days where the sun is obscured. Solar landscape lighting generally is easier to install than electrical lighting as it has no need for cables and external power sources. You will have to weigh up the pros of easy installation, no additional cost to run it, environmentally friendly to the obvious cons of it not being as reliable as the electrical version of landscape lighting.
